A Victorian mahogany twin pedestal desk with barrel top. The interior is fitted with small drawers flanking a row of pigeon holes. The writing surface is complemented with tooled leather inlays, the central pad is hinged and can be set at an angle with a bracket in the well below. The writing top pulls out from the desk when in use. The desk splits into three parts, the barrel top and two pedestal bases which contain a bank of three drawers each. All drawers are traditionally dovetailed and have turned wooden knobs.
